Jose Mourinho has now set his eyes on Danny Rose thoughtfully, as he believes the English global will become Manchester United's next first-choice left back in a £50 million deal, reports Daily Mail.

Manchester United will look to top Group A, with at least a point against CSKA Moscow at Old Trafford on Tuesday evening and will go through barring a seven goal defeat to the Russian outfit.

Rose has been heavily linked with a departure from the North London club, especially after he slammed the club's transfer policy and wage structure back in the summer.

But, reports in recent hours suggest Manchester United are convinced they can sign Rose in January.

United are also believed to be open to exploit Tottenham's apparent interest in Shaw, who worked with Pochettino while at Southampton, but Spurs are not keen on a part-exchange deal involving in the seven-time England worldwide.
