Sanu is now 6-for-6 for his career throwing passes while lining up in the Wildcat - or 12 gauge, as the team calls this formation. Jones caught touchdowns from Matt Ryan and fellow wide receiver Mohamed Sanu as the Falcons built a big lead and held on late.

A huge part of the struggles this season have been injuries, somewhat predictably. However, Danilo Gallinari and Milos Teodosic have both missed time as well, and Patrick Beverley was lost for the year. The 28-year-old forward's latest injury doesn't come with the kind of stakes his recent ailments did. With just Griffin on the court, the Clippers are getting beat by 5.9 points per 100 possessions. However, after the holiday break for the Lakers, they should have had a lot more energy on the defensive end.

The Clippers' next game is Friday (AEDT) against the Jazz in L.A.

That leaves center DeAndre Jordan - who was once apart of a fearsome trio alongside Griffin and Paul - by himself on a roster that was pieced back together after the Paul trade brought back seven players in return.
