Things are just going from bad to worse for the Los Angeles Clippers. Examinations revealed no structural damage in Griffin's knee, per ESPN.

What does this mean for the Clippers?

The Clippers' tight control of Los Angeles basketball continued Monday, yet nobody wearing the red, white and blue was in a celebratory mood.

Bucs' offensive struggles, slow starts magnified in loss to Falcons
Sanu is now 6-for-6 for his career throwing passes while lining up in the Wildcat - or 12 gauge, as the team calls this formation. Jones caught touchdowns from Matt Ryan and fellow wide receiver Mohamed Sanu as the Falcons built a big lead and held on late.

A huge part of the struggles this season have been injuries, somewhat predictably. However, Danilo Gallinari and Milos Teodosic have both missed time as well, and Patrick Beverley was lost for the year. The 28-year-old forward's latest injury doesn't come with the kind of stakes his recent ailments did. With just Griffin on the court, the Clippers are getting beat by 5.9 points per 100 possessions. However, after the holiday break for the Lakers, they should have had a lot more energy on the defensive end.

The Clippers' next game is Friday (AEDT) against the Jazz in L.A.

That leaves center DeAndre Jordan - who was once apart of a fearsome trio alongside Griffin and Paul - by himself on a roster that was pieced back together after the Paul trade brought back seven players in return.

One team above them, too, is the Oklahoma City Thunder.

There is still no official word from the LA Clippers at the time of writing, as they may be doing further tests to more accurately determine the length of time the All-Star forward will miss. If Oklahoma City gets back into the playoff picture, then the amount Los Angeles needs to climb back into this is ever larger. Lakers guard Lonzo Ball dribbled around the Clippers' Austin Rivers and into the lane.
