Ohio State coach Urban Meyer seethed through his postgame news conference after the Buckeyes 31-20 win over MI on Saturday, furious over what he said was a knee injury suffered by J.T. Barrett before the game.

Ohio State will now play in the Big Ten championship game in Indianapolis next week.

That possibility was kept within reach by the back-and-forth battle that took place in Ann Arbor and a comeback that was drawn out over the entire second half.

He completed 3 of 4 passes for 60 yards on those first two drives and also ran for 24 yards on three attempts. The Wolverines jumped out to a 14-0 lead and led 20-14 in the third quarter, but they were unable to close it out once again.

O'Korn overthrew three open receivers in the first quarter, but he did connect with tight end Zach Gentry for a 27-yard gain on the Wolverines' first touchdown drive.

Barrett, who exited the game with OSU down 20-14, needed help getting off the field and did not return.

Two plays later, Haskins called his own number, rushed around right end and gained 22 yards before being pushed out at the one-yard line.

The win keeps Ohio State coach Urban Meyer undefeated against MI, as he is 6-0 against the Buckeyes' archrival.

With the win, the Buckeyes, the champions of the Big Ten East Division, have defeated the Wolverines six straight times and in 11 of their last 13 meetings.

Down to its third-string quarterback, John O'Korn, Michigan came out hot in the first quarter, jumping out to a 14-0 lead with creative early play-calling and a smothering defense. "And (Barrett) is so tough he went out there and played and obviously we didn't do very well".

Ohio State's playoff pursuit marches on! Barrett's status is unknown for the Wisconsin game.
