Regina getting set to hold Santa Claus Parade

The point-to-point race follows the same route as the Santa Claus Parade and finishes at Maple Leaf Square.

The parade starts at 6:10 p.m. on Uptown Boulevard.

One thing that won't change with this year's parade is the Santa Watch Party, set for the municipal parking lot at Elgin and Larch streets from 2-5:30 p.m.

There are 15 entries in the 2017 parade that include some familiar faces like Santa Claus, The Grinch, The Disney Princesses and Harvey the HarbourCat. It is travelling along Bloor Street to University Avenue.

The Santa Claus Parade brought thousands of residents out to sit on curbs along Woolwich Street and throughout the downtown on Sunday afternoon to take in the spectacle.

Stoney Creek: The 61st annual parade happens December 2 at 2 p.m. and follows this route: King Street East from Cardinal Newman Catholic Secondary School to Battlefield Drive.

Front Street, from Bay Street to Jarvis Street, at 11:45 a.m.

Paint the Town Christmas is scheduled for December 7, 4-7 p.m. downtown Chippewa Falls.

This year marks the 113th year for the annual holiday parade. Route: Starts at the Community Center (Arena) and proceeds along Regional Rd 20 (old Hwy 20), past Town hall to the intersection of Canborough Rd & Reg. Rd 14.

Pelham: The 20th annual parade happens December 9 at 1 p.m. Fenwick Lions continue the celebration after the parade with plenty of free activities, food and refreshments.

Letters to Santa will be collected at drop-off boxes at Beaver Hills Park and the Abbey Glen Park at 101 Street and Jasper Avenue.
