Two stabbed after confronting alleged thief at Macy's in Mall of America

The 20-year-old suspect accused of stabbing two men at the Mall of America in Minnesota has been identified.

Abdiraham has been arrested on suspicion of first-degree assault.

Police say the first victim was stabbed after he returned to the dressing room and confronted a man attempting to steal his belongings.

"When that happened there was a couple of other members that assisted the victim, they went in there to help, in doing so a second victim sustained a knife wound". But he caught Abdirahaman in the act, and the would-be thief pulled a knife and stabbed him, authorities said. "Our thoughts are with the families involved".
