McGregor was filmed pushing referee Marc Goddard and striking a Bellator employee after his SBG teammate Charlie Ward scored a first round TKO win over compatriot John Redmond in the Three Arena last Friday.

After grabbing headlines this past weekend for his in-cage misconduct during a Bellator MMA event, Ultimate Fighting Championship lightweight titlist Conor McGregor released a brief statement on the matter Monday morning before deleting it. "I'll come back for that fight", De La Hoya said.

"After the event, I had some executives from UFC contact me within two hours after what occurred".

"They did inform me that he was set to be on the December 30th card and he will not be on it", Mazzulli added. The past 12 months has seen McGregor take time off for paternity leave and take part in a his pro boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather in August, when he was stopped in 10 rounds.

Regardless of what the UFC allegedly told Mazzulli and what else the promotion might do to reprimand McGregor, who could be in violation of the company's Athlete Code of Conduct, the ABC president isn't letting the matter simply fade away.

DeShone Kizer returns to Browns vs. Lions game
Right call by the Browns? Zane Gonzalez kicked a 23-yard field goal to open the scoring with 11:30 left in the first quarter. Collins and Trevon Coley combined to drop Theo Riddick for 3-yard loss on third down for a net loss of minus-13 on the drive.

Butch Jones' time as Tennessee football coach is over
Hoke has been a head coach for 12 seasons, making stops at Ball State and San Diego State before arriving in Ann Arbor in 2011. However, the Tigers needed only 57 seconds to drive 75 yards and retake the lead at 24-17 on Larry Rountree's 1-yard run.

"On the other hand, I will be speaking to my attorneys to see if I have any action".

"The bottom line is, he was unprofessional, disrespectful and it was not acceptable in my eyes - in any situation". "If Mr. McGregor was licensed at Mohegan and did this at another commission overseas and was licensed for me, I would suspend him indefinitely and require for him to come to a hearing and explain himself".

The prone Redmond, who was still being treated by medical staff following the stoppage when McGregor entered the ring, remained on his knees throughout the incident and at one stage, McGregor appeared to knock an official into him, knocking his fellow Dublin fighter off balance.

Either way, not having McGregor compete is a huge blow to the company's end of year show and the longer he goes without defending a title in the UFC, the more impatient his fans grow.
