DeShone Kizer returns to Browns vs. Lions game

He tried - but failed - to rally his team from a 14-point deficit late in the fourth quarter.

It was a mental mistake - and one of the many reasons the Browns are 0-9. The Browns are down to seven more chances to avoid matching that futility record.

It also helped the Lions that Browns starting quarterback DeShone Kizer had to leave the game for part of the second half because of a rib injury. The Lions did it from 2007-2010.

DeValve's Bad Day - DeValve cost the Browns a 29-yard completion to Britt down to the 15 with a holding penalty.

Stafford completed 17 of 26 attempts for 249 yards with 3 TDs and 1 pick for a 118.9 rating.

Cleveland scored the first 10 points of the game, but the Lions rallied to take a 17-10 lead by halftime.

AT&T may have to sell CNN to merge with Time Warner
Those remarks put AT&T and DOJ on a collision course, policy analysts said, which may lead to DOJ suing to block the deal. "I didn't make that decision", Trump told reporters.

Patriots claim tight end Martellus Bennett off waivers
While the 30-year-old could try to play through the injury, the Patriots may decide to place him on injured reserve. Gronkowski has been healthy and more productive this season, catching 34 passes for 509 yards with five touchdowns.

Driverless shuttle involved in crash 2 hours after launch
City spokesman Jace Radke said the shuttle stopped when it sensed the truck was approaching, but the truck didn't stop. Police say no injuries were reported in the Wednesday crash between the self-operating vehicle and a semi-truck.

End Of Half Debacle - After moving into the red zone, Kizer ran 18 yards to the Lions 2 with:40 left in the half.

Kizer's 1-yard plunge completed an 80-yard drive and gave the Browns the lead later in the quarter. They marched 85 yards in 8 plays capped by a 6-yard touchdown run by Isaiah Crowell to tie the game at 17.

See how Twitter reacted to the touchdown and the Browns' lead. Running back Duke Johnson moved the chains by the nose of the football. Kizer was careful with the ball and made a nice throw to Seth DeValve before the Browns' third touchdown. It put the Lions ahead 17-10 with 3:55 left in the half - plenty of time for the Browns to score if they hadn't botched the end of the half.

Garrett has four sacks in just three games this year, and was considered one of the best pass-rushing prospects in recent years coming out of Texas A&M. But they were gashed for 89 yards in the first half, and 8.9 yards per carry. Matthew Stafford had a pass intercepted. Yet another botched opportunity and awful clock management considering that the Browns had to blow their final timeout with 1:17 to go in the half.

The Lions then knotted the score at 10-all when Ameer Abdullah bulled up the middle from 9 yards out with 10:25 remaining until intermission. Collins and Trevon Coley combined to drop Theo Riddick for 3-yard loss on third down for a net loss of minus-13 on the drive.

Kizer played well until he was hurt, then came back and did what he could. Right call by the Browns? Zane Gonzalez kicked a 23-yard field goal to open the scoring with 11:30 left in the first quarter.
