Ezekiel Elliot's six-game suspension is back on after the Second U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals denied his request for an emergency injunction at a hearing Friday in NY.

The court's ruling allows the NFL to re-suspend Elliott for six games, per NFL Network's legal analyst Gabe Feldman.

This is a developing news story.

In a one-page order issued less than an hour after Elliott's emergency stay hearing, a three-judge 2nd Circuit panel found that Elliott's claims did not meet the standard necessary for a stay pending appeal.

The court says the appeal will be heard on an expedited appeal.
