ESPN reported Bradford had his left knee "cleaned up" Tuesday to hopefully ease his pain.

The Vikings are reportedly considering putting Sam Bradford on injured reserve, which would end his season.

The Minnesota Vikings officially activated Bridgewater to their active roster, the team announced on Wednesday.

The Vikings, who lead the NFC North at 6-2, chose to shut down Bradford for the rest of the 2017 regular season but if they make the playoffs and the veteran is healthy, the team could elect to activate him off IR.

Mortensen says Andrews had previously shared that Bradford's knee is structurally sound, and nothing he saw during Tuesday's procedure would indicate anything different.
