LeBron youngest ever to 29000 points; Cavs end four-game slide

LeBron James produced a memorable performance as the Cleveland Cavaliers ended their four-game losing streak by overcoming the Washington Wizards 130-122. Turnaround jumpers. Fadeaways. Most of it out of the post.

If the Cavs intend to make another run in the East and take the Conference for the 4th straight season, there are some moves that they need to do as soon as possible, and today, we'll let you know exactly which ones, trying to pair 2 or 3 of these guys to lure an All-Star to the Q.

"I came here to the Cavs to be a part of the solution and not a part of the problem".

"I've seen a lot lately because of the struggles of our team and the struggle of my play trying to figure out my role", he said.

"It's coming around, we've got to continue to keep building", Cavs coach Ty Lue said. "We knew he was feeling good".

Jae Crowder added: "Special".

"We have an opportunity to be very good and then you see some of the lulls that we have and it's just very hard on our team right now".

Let's face it: Tristan Thompson straight robbed the Cleveland Cavaliers out of a couple of good games and his good relationship with LeBron James, and he's not almost as good as they expected him to be when they handed him that very lucrative extension. Wade is James' close friend and is in his fifth National Basketball Association season (not counting Olympics) as James' teammate, including four year in Miami.

Slaven Bilic: West Ham manager confirms talks with bosses over future
Asked if he still has the club's backing, Bilic said: "It's hard for me to talk about that now". Bilic, however, refused to blame a lack of effort from his players for the defeat.

Boston Celtics create National Basketball Association history after impressive win over the Thunder
It's (very) early, but the potential to be defensively dominant was evident in the Thunder's 101-94 loss the Celtics on Friday. That OKC first-half defense was as swarming as it's been all season, including during the previous two games.

Saudi-led air strike kills 21 people in Yemen: Reuters witness
The stalemated war has killed more than 10,000 civilians and pushed the Arab world's poorest country to the brink of starvation . Thirty months of war, high prices of consumer goods, and unemployment have had dramatic consequences for the population.

ROCKETS 119, HAWKS 104: James Harden scored 21 of his 29 points in the first half, and visiting Houston handed Atlanta its eighth straight loss. Love witnessed not only the 57 James notched against the Wizards, but was out there for Irving's 57 against the Spurs three seasons ago. And he knew how important this game was for us after losing four in a row.

"Pretty much feels like everything you throw up is going in", James said about his performance.

Like everything James does, it was clearly thought out and undoubtedly a reference to the nonstop talking the Wizards had directed at the Cavaliers, including on Friday, when Wall and Beal went on ESPN and made all kinds of braggadocious statements.

"When he plays like that - I mean, every night he's dominant - but that right there shows what everyone talks about", said Cavaliers guard Dwyane Wade, who also was a teammate with James on the Miami Heat when he scored 61. "He was special tonight".

PISTONS 105, BUCKS 96: Andre Drummond scored 14 of his 24 points in the third quarter Friday night - thanks mostly to an uncharacteristically sharp performance from the free-throw line - as Detroit won at home.

Al Horford scored 20 points, while reigning MVP and Thunder star Russell Westbrook put up 19 points and 11 assists.

How Porter comes back after missing a game will be crucial, more so since he will match up against James on the defensive end. "I did, I missed 11 shots".
