NEW YORK (AP) - Manhattan prosecutors are investigating actress Paz de la Huerta's accusations that Harvey Weinstein raped her twice in her apartment in 2010. Weinstein offered to give the actress a ride home after she ran into him at the Standard High Line hotel in Manhattan.

"He hushed me and said, 'Let's talk about this in your apartment, '" de la Huerta recalled to Vanity Fair after she tried to tell Weinstein to leave her alone. De la Huerta says Weinstein started by trying to kiss her, but when she brushed him away, "He pushed me onto the bed and his trousers were down and he lifted up my skirt". It happened very quickly....

"I'm not going to close the door and say others won't come forward but this is what we have right now".

Detectives say her story is believable and have corroborated parts of her story.

Criminal investigations continue to mount for Harvey Weinstein, the Oscar-winning movie producer who stands accused by dozens of women of sexual assault and harassment.

De la Huerta has appeared in films, like "The Cider House Rules" and "A Walk to Remember", and starred as Lucy Danzinger in HBO's "Boardwalk Empire".

She called police on October 26, he said.
