Pochettino accuses Mourinho of trying to unsettle the England global in his new book, but the United manager stated that Matic was always his number-one target.

Luke Shaw's future at Manchester United has been in doubt for some time, and the former Southampton left-back has once again fueled rumours of a move away from Old Trafford, this week.

Mourinho was irked by the 28-year-old's comments but Herrera said ahead of United's league clash with Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday afternoon (Saturday evening AEDT) that there was no rift with the Portuguese.

The 45-year-old revealed in his new book that he was unhappy with Mourinho's conduct when allegedly "unsettling" midfielder Eric Dier after a league match at Old Trafford last December.

The England global freely admits he wants to link up once more with Pochettino eventually, with the full-back even saying "I think he really wants me to play under him again".

"We saw the game they played with Real Madrid and they were not worse than them".
