On Monday, Microsoft announced it will shutter its own music streaming service, Groove Music Pass, and encourage its subscribers to migrate to the streaming giant Spotify.

Microsoft announced yesterday that the company is killing its music streaming service Groove Music Pass. The Groove application will keep on being ideal with downloaded buys and different other privately put away music, notes Engadget. The app doesn't support FLAC like Groove Music, which is a bit of a disappointment if you like to listen to really high-quality music. This move all follows on from Spotify's debut on the Xbox One, the app is also available on Windows Phone, so it slots right in to Microsoft's Windows ecosystem.

You have to launch your Groove app first and log into your account.

Music downloaded via Music Pass will no longer be valid after the cutoff date.
