"Everyone wants to win every competition we are in, " said Young, who played wing-back and captained the side in their 4-1 Champions League win over CSKA Moscow in Russian Federation on Wednesday.

Do you think United are a better team with Pogba in midfield? We never miss the players that are injured, that's our way of seeing.

"That's our way of seeing [it]".

"But it's not just me or us. I think every step in his career he got it, he grabbed it with both hands", he concluded.

There has been reports during the summer that Young might be allowed to leave Old Trafford, but Mourinho claims the prospect of selling the former England worldwide never entered his mind.

Palace, meanwhile, are trying to avoid extending their own unwanted record of failing to score in each of their opening six matches but they were unlucky not to find the net in their last outing at Manchester City.

And Keane believes the victory was a latest warning to rivals that they will be a force to be reckoned with this term, as they aim to end their hunt for top honours.
