South Korean F-15 fighter jets and U.S. Air Force F-16 fighter jets joined the bombers as they flew over the peninsula.

United States bombers carried out a rare live fire drill in South Korea Saturday, flying close to the DMZ in a show of force after Pyongyang's latest missile test, the South's defence ministry said.

North Korea has accused Washington of pushing the peninsula to the "tipping point" of nuclear war after a practice bombing run by two United States planes.

"The B-1Bs practiced attack capabilities by releasing inert weapons at the Pilsung Range", the U.S. Pacific Air Forces said in a statement.

In response to the launch, US and South Korean troops fired ballistic missiles in a simulated attack on the North's leadership, in what was described "as a strong message of warning".

But if we look at the ballistic missile, if confirmed then it would be a major step forward in developing a nuclear-armed missile that can reach anywhere in the United States.

First Overall Draft Pick Markelle Fultz Injures Ankle
The good news is that Fultz's outlook with an injury like this shouldn't put his regular season debut in question. Fultz was a member of the 2016 Team USA Under-18 team that won the FIBA Americas World Championships last July.

U.S. job creation surges in June, pointing to market's resilience

Rob Kardashian: Blac Chyna accuses him of having deceived him
He went on a rampage on social media as Blac Chyna allegedly send him pictures and video of her with her new boy toy making out. Meanwhile, TMZ is reporting that its sources say Chyna has no intention of going to court for child support, at least for now.

It stated: "The US saying it will regularly deploy strategic bombers to the Korean Peninsula is the same as a insane act of playing fire on top of an ammunitions locker". In addition to showcasing their ability to fire into North Korea, Reuters reported Friday that USA forces also have plans to test a controversial missile defense system, called THAAD that has recently been deployed to the peninsula.

Some experts believe the missile has the range to reach Alaska and Hawaii and the test signalled a significant advance in the North's declared intent to build a nuke which can hit the U.S. mainland. Abe said that Japan and Sweden would work together to combat terrorism.

Trump has voiced his frustration in recent days that China hasn't done more.

"We stand ready to provide options if they are necessary, " Mattis said, pointing out that diplomacy with regards to North Korea had not failed.

The US, Japan and South Korea agreed on Friday to push for a quick UN Security Council resolution to put new sanctions on North Korea. Trump the same day warned of a "severe response" to the latest missile test.

Though North Korea's ability to launch an ICBM is groundbreaking, the reclusive state faces a series of technical hurdles before its program has enough material for more nuclear tests and the ability to strike deep into the US, experts say. The test, which will be conducted by the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), is scheduled to take place this month.
