Manchester United have been linked with Real Madrid star James Rodriguez for a long time now and the latest reports going on in the media have been interesting.

We should remember that, three years ago, Rodriguez was the hottest property in the market - so much so, in fact, that everybody simply expected him to join Madrid following what was an aye-inspring World Cup with Colombia.

The reigning Champions League winners value Rodriguez at £53m, and reports state that the London-based outfit is planning to go all the way to secure the player's services.

IL lottery troubles could boost Wisconsin sales
People can still buy Illinois Lottery tickets as winners of jackpots more than $25,000 will have their payments delayed. This ended up hurting the lottery, which estimates a loss in up to $71.5 million in revenue because of the delays.

As per the provided Express link, PSG and Chelsea are eager to sign James as well but he prefers to join Mourinho at Old Trafford.

Manager Jose Mourinho, who was understood to be concerned previously about a move for James, sees this as a chance to fit the Colombian into his scheme of things, with a place opening up in the squad with Rooney's impending transfer. The star's agent, Jorge Mendes, who also handles Mourinho, is trying to get his clients to strike a deal this summer.

Mourinho has grown frustrated in recent weeks about the club's major inactivity so far in the transfer window as the club's major arrival this summer has been Sweden global, Victor Lindelof. The Premier League holders have yet to make an outfield signing this summer, and their recent attempt turned into failure after the Red Devils hijacked their move for Everton's Romelu Lukaku.
