Bill Cosby arrives with publicist Andrew Wyatt at the Montgomery County Courthouse as the jury deliberates in his sexual assault trial in Norristown, Pennsylvania June 13, 2017.

The predominantly white jury of seven men and five women has been considering the three aggravated indecent assault charges against Cosby for about seven hours since late Monday. He could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted.

In the deposition, Cosby said he gave her Benedryl, a non-prescription allergy medication as he and Constand talked in the kitchen of his home that night. "They'll take the edge off", Cosby told her, she testified. Constand - an athletic, 6-foot-tall college basketball staffer - said they made her dazed and groggy, and unable to say no or fight back when Cosby went inside her trousers. In a deposition taken in 2005, Cosby admitted to giving Constand the tranquilizer, Quaalude, but he maintains their sexual encounter was consensual.

The fate of entertainer Bill Cosby on sexual assault charges is in the hands of a jury near Philadelphia, which began deliberations Monday.

Cosby, 79, best known for his role as the dad in the 1980s hit TV family comedy "The Cosby Show", is accused of drugging and sexually assaulting Constand at his home in the Philadelphia suburbs.

Gianna Constand, the accuser's fiercely protective mother, testified that Cosby apologized over the phone to her and her daughter and offered to pay for her schooling.

Trump calls ex-FBI director Comey a 'leaker' after testimony
Under oath Thursday, Comey repeatedly called Trump a liar - Trump responded Friday by saying Comey was a liar. The House intelligence committee said Friday it requested an answer from the White House counsel by June 23.

The defense has focused on inconsistencies in Constand's statements about the timing of the alleged assault, pointing out that she remained in contact with Cosby for weeks after the night in question. In another question late in the day, jurors asked to listen again to the testimony of an officer who was the first to interview Constand when she reported the incident in 2005. "The State has the burden of proving a client's guilt beyond a reasonable doubt and Mr. Cosby is presumed innocent unless/until the state meets this heavy burden, explains criminal defense attorney Court Will". The 50 other accusers, like a finger-wagging Greek chorus in the back of the courtroom, stand in for the wronged women of the past.

Dozens of women say he assaulted them, but statutes of limitation rules mean he is on trial for only Ms Constand's allegation. "It's amusing, she had selective amnesia for everything I asked her", he said.

The attorney, who is trying to get the comedian full acquittal stressed in his closing statement that 'She said one thing yesterday, another thing today. "And I went upstairs and I went into my pack and I broke one whole one and brought a half down and told her to take it".

The megastar turned pariah refused to testify and the defense called just one witness, a police detective, before resting their case minutes later on the sixth day of what was initially billed as a two-week trial. The woman says she can not recall exactly when Constand told her of the plan to falsely accuse a celebrity, only that Constand was the operations manager for the team at the time. Another witness, Kelly Johnson, testified that she was the victim of a similar attack by the comedian in 1996. Then the other women started coming forward. His lawyers said they were in a romantic relationship and what happened was consensual.

But Constand's is the only criminal case against him as under U.S. statues of limitations. Jackson said Constand did not identify the personality as Cosby.
