ASSASSIN'S CREED ORIGINS Takes the Series to Egypt

Earlier this year, Ubisoft confirmed that a new Assassin's Creed would be coming within the course of its current fiscal year, while the official Assassin's Creed Twitter accounts promised more information would come at E3.

More details about Assassin's Creed: Origins were revealed at Ubisoft's E3 press conference, starting with their epic cinematic trailer filled with slo-mo fighting and stunning visuals.

The gamer plays Bayek who is an Egyptian sherrif who also happens to be an assassin.

What do you want to see from Assassin's Creed: Origins? Now, I'm no history buff, but it appears like Assassin's Creed may be straying from its ancient-alien-alternate-history path in favor of a more fantastical adventure.

Assassin's Creed, the multi-million dollar gaming franchise, has returned with its next major title: Assassin's Creed Origins.

The 10 year Anniversary of Assassin's Creed is all about going back to the very beginning of the Assassin's Brotherhood. Origins does look like a fresh direction for the series though, which is refreshing.

Assassin's Creed: Origins launches on October 27, 2017 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

The demo also showed off a new combat system. It also shows some new game dynamics which include sending a pet bird up to the skies in order to scout the area ahead. Starring Bayek, the last Magi, the game adds several new RPG elements to the mix, such as equippable enemy weapons and Far Cry Primal's owl scanner (this time in the form of an eagle).
