Virat Kohli 'never invited' Vijay Mallya for charity dinner in London

After suffering its first non-scoring race of 2017, Force India team principal Vijay Mallya insists his team has made progress despite its Monaco failure as he targets a return to the points in Canada. But normally what happens at the charity dinner is that someone who has bought a table is entitled to invite his guests.

Mallya had earlier watched India's match against Pakistan at the Edgbaston on Sunday.

Talking to ANI, former Kingfisher Airlines employee Anirudh Balal said Mallya should also honour the Indian judiciary like he honours and enjoys watching Indian matches.

Former owner of Kohli's Indian Premier League franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Mallya is now out on bail in London despite being wanted in India. There were many people who attended the event but the only one who caught much attention besides the Indian Players is Vijay Mallya.

"His presence creates a very uncomfortable situation for the cricketers", said a source.
