This was the fourth time the Yankees have hit four homers in an inning - they last did it on October 1, 2012, against Boston. My actions didn't just affect me, they affected this organization as well. Josh Donaldson on his bobblehead day drilled a shot over the right-center field wall, and suddenly the Yankees were down 3-2. Ezequiel Carrera grounds out to shallow infield, Didi Gregorius to Chris Carter.

Gardner found himself at third base on the error. He struck out five without a walk and left to a standing ovation in the seventh.

And after Kendrys Morales walked, Justin Smoak continued his solid season, cranking a home run to right, his 13th of the season, to increase the lead to 3-0. Smoak made an outstanding play to scoop Travis' throw, a high hope that Smoak back-handed. Jose Bautista to third.

In the fourth, Aaron Judge singled, stole second and moved to third on catcher Luke Maile's throwing error. Clearly, Judge is wasting no time in preparing a case for his third straight Rookie of the Month honor.

"In the American League, especially in our division, you've got to hit home runs", Gibbons said.

Estrada's night was done much earlier than anticipated as manager John Gibbons brought out the hook before the fourth inning was done. Gardner led off with a homer and then with two outs, Holliday, Castro and Gregorius connected in succession.

Severino and Stroman were both flawless through their first three innings. He will face Luis Severino (4-2, 2.93), who has not lost since May 1 at Yankee Stadium when he allowed eight hits and five runs to the Blue Jays.

The Jays managed to get 10 hits off Pineda, including the Donaldson and Smoak homers. He had one strikeout before Jonathan Holder replaced him in the sixth.

The four eighth-inning home runs the Yankees hit Saturday came against reliver Jason Grilli.

This time the defence came through when Donaldson hosed up a hard grounder shot his way toward third. Holliday, Castro and Gregorius followed with back-to-back-to-back homers - all with two out.

Bonino played 16:06 in Game 2 , but according to head coach Mike Sullivan he is dealing with a lower-body injury. Rinne downplayed all the questions, saying it's been like someone died. "But I'm still feeling confident".

ICC Champions Trophy: Joe Root 'thrilled' with brilliant start to the tournament
The ball fell near him but Tamim had no idea where the delivery was and almost tripped on it, before it spun away. Th duo added valuable 165-run partnership, before getting out on two back to back balls of the 45th over.

Loup was pulled for Joe Smith to start the eighth and the right-hander opened the inning by fielding a Rob Refsnyder ground ball with his bare hand and throwing him out at first.

Biagini retired 10 batters in a row until Castro led off the seventh with a bloop double to left.

Toronto Blue Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson slugged his sixth home run of the season Sunday's 3-2 defeat of the New York Yankees.

But the Bringer of Rain seemed to rain on his own parade.

"I don't know if I've even gotten a hit on one of my bobblehead days before", said Donaldson, who has been honored twice previously.

"But I am getting a few pitches to hit as of late and I haven't missed them", said the 2015 AL MVP who was activated from the DL last week.

"[He's not feeling] good enough".

The ball left Donaldson's bat at 100 m.p.h. and travelled 384 feet to right centre-field to the delight of the sellout crowd of 46,782 with the Rogers Centre roof closed. He has now hit in six of his last seven contests with nine of his 16 hits this season going for extra bases. Aaron Judge walks. Matt Holliday doubles to deep center field. In 11 starts last season, Severino had an 8.50 ERA.

"Seeing Smoak and how he's progressed this season from the first season we got him, to previous year to now, it's very satisfying to see".

"It's incredible", Donaldson said of Smoak's season. "Every day you're expecting something out of him and he's coming through".
