Osinbajo: Ceding Bakassi to Cameroon was a loss to Nigeria

The royal father and patriarch of the Efik Kingdom who spoke in Calabar on Thursday when the acting President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo visited the State, also lamented the loss of Bakassi Peninsular to Cameroon.

Prof. Osinbajo will be received at the Margaret Ekpo International Airport by the Governor of Cross River State, Prof. Ben Ayade of Cross River's signature projects.

Prof. Osinbajo stated this while responding to issues raised by stakeholders at the town hall meeting in Calabar, organized in continuation of the series of engagements with leaders in the Niger Delta region. It is because we have here people of every race, people of every tribe bringing in their different cultures, their different strengths (together). We are greater together than apart.

Osinbajo, while in the state is expected to commission some projects embarked upon by Ayade. When people speak of Nigeria, it is because of its diversity.
