In light of Lawfare editor Benjamin Wittes's recollection that former Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey-after trying to blend into the curtains-had been "disgusted" by Trump's attempt to hug him at a White House event in January, former Clinton staffer Philippe Reines released a video of Hillary Clinton practicing dodging his advances during debate prep. Pope Francis, take note. Reines tweeted a video of himself on Friday, where he jokingly played the part of Trump by trying to bring Clinton in for an embrace.

In the clip, Reines - as Trump - goes in for a hug.

But Trump tried to hug him anyway, which Comey avoided, and it resulted in an awkward handshake.

"Not easy to avoid the unwanted Trump hug, sometimes it even takes practice", Philippe Reines posted Friday alongside a video where Clinton confronted a fake Trump. In a slight-of-hand trick, Trump pulled him into an embrace before he could do anything.

She was also the most favoured candidate to win the election, but Mr Trump won with 304 electoral college votes, to Ms Clinton's 227.

Nicky Hayden In Critical Condition
"He is still in intensive care and suffered a severe polytrauma, resulting in very serious brain damage", the hospital added. WorldSBK star Nicky Hayden's condition remains unchanged and still extremely critical, according to doctors this evening.

Trump has garnered attention for his unorthodox greetings with world leaders, including a 19-second handshake with Japan's Shinzo Abe and a odd almost-kiss with his own Vice President Mike Pence.

The fake Trump approached Clinton with his arms wide open, inviting a hug from the former secretary of state.

The video shows Clinton and Reines meeting in the middle of two podiums, as Clinton grabs Reines hand for a handshake to block his hug before attempting to run away.

"Comey took the long walk across the room determined, he told me, that there was not going to be a hug", Wittes wrote. It was bad enough there was going to be a handshake.
