"Morgan Stanley's Greater China Technology Research colleagues have not yet seen delays in the supply chain and still expect new iPhone production to start on time for most of the components (including OLED)". Leaks, rumours, renders and mock-ups have been flying all over the net with new ones popping up every second day. The iPhone 7s Plus will remain the biggest of the three, followed by the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 7s. Currently, the iPhone 8 is rumored to cost $999 for the 128GB version and $1,099 for the 256GB variant. The smartphone will finally feature an OLED screen, welcoming Apple to the new age. To that end, even the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus weren't pure upgrades.

It's been previously reported that Apple is planning to embed its Touch ID sensor beneath the iPhone 8's OLED display. Another feature that's confirmed today is the vertical dual camera for the iPhone 8. Some past leaks have suggested that it could be placed on the back panel. Recently leaked CAD renders revealed that the camera bump on the iPhone 8 back panel would house the two lenses as well as the flash.

The bezels also appear to have gone and the device now has an edge-to-edge display. We suspect that's simply to fit a similar rear camera system to that now found on the iPhone 7 Plus yet in a smaller body. The True Tone display changes its hue and color temperature depending on the atmosphere. Otherwise, Apple will resort to Plan "B", which calls for a physical Touch ID button on the back of the phone.

There have been many conflicting reports on whether Apple will actually implement it or not. This is versus the rumors which have suggested that Apple could be going for an embedded sensor. If Apple decides to use OLED, it will have to price it much higher to keep the profit margins intact. Even some of the more optimistic speculations we've seen have said that the device might not be released until October.

From the leaked iPhone molds, the iPhone 7s seems to be the smallest among the trio and will have a single camera sensor at the rear while the others will have the dual-lens rear camera arrangement.

There are several reasons behind the same. So, the current iPhone 7 Plus device sells for $969.

By the end of September, Apple will nearly certainly have unveiled its new iPhone models for this year - but until then we're left with leaks, rumors and speculation when it comes to predicting what's ahead.

The advantage of OLED screens over LCD displays is that the OLED panel produces its own light rather than relying on a backlight to illuminate the pixels. The 3D sensing technologies found in the new camera module add 20 dollars to the cost and the new updated memory is 16-29 dollars more expensive than the one on the iPhone 7.

The upcoming 10th-anniversary edition of iPhone is expected to pack completely new hardware and feature a revamped design, which will push the price up.

The iPhone has been a symbol of technological innovation for years, but it has been slipping since the iPhone 5.
