Sunny skies, hot temperatures expected through the midweek

Thunderstorms are expected again on Wednesday, when the high temperature will be around 68 degrees, the weather service says. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Isolated showers and thunderstorms. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

On Thursday, rain is likely, with a 60 percent chance of precipitation before noon, and much cooler temperatures, with the high expected to only reach 46.

Friday's Omaha-area forecast calls for a chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 1 p.m., and a high in the lower to mid-60s.

SATURDAY: Partly sunny with a high around 75.
