Ultra Street Fighter 2 is Coming to Nintendo Switch

Capcom, a Japanese developer and publisher of video games, announces a brand new rendition of "Street Fighter 2" for Nintendo Switch entitled "Ultra Street Fighter 2: The Final Challengers" which is set to feature a new mode and characters as well. Evil Ryu and Violent Ken are the two new confirmed fighters, with all of the classics returning as well.

In addition to the classic arcade mode, players will be able to team up in 2v1 fights, similar to the Dramatic Battle mode from Street Fighter Alpha series.

Apart from upgraded graphics, the game is going to feature Evil Ryu and Violent Ken - two new character updates. This version of Ryu is a character that is obsessed with fighting to prove that he is the strongest, as the Satsui no Hado (Dark Hado) has already overcome him and has removed his honorable self.

Violent Ken, on the other hand, was Ryu's rival who was kidnapped and brainwashed by M. Bison with his Psycho Power. With Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite expected to come out this year, the hype is at an all-time high for Capcom and Street Fighter.

The Final Challengers for Nintendo Switch during their new console presentation earlier tonight. What's more, Violent Ken's flames are purple instead of the traditional orange flames. Street Fighter will certainly work in compliment to Arms, one of Nintendo's launch titles. There's no word yet on a release date but details on the game have been shared via a press release.
